Dr Mohammad Alam joined our team in January 2024. He is a leading consultant paediatrician and neonatologist, based in London. He has over 25 years of medical experience in several aspects of paediatric care, including children’s food allergies; feeding issues in new-borns; respiratory conditions; asthma in children; childhood Eczema and day to day problems of children and new-born babies.
Dr M Alam received higher specialist training within NHS at King’s College Hospital London, Evelina Children’s Hospital London before assuming the post of Consultant Paediatrician. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in 2015, two years after finishing his specialist training. Dr M Alam also completed a Postgraduate Certification in Paediatric Allergy from Imperial College London in 2016.
In addition to his profession as a clinician, Dr M Alam has a strong interest in teaching and training. As well as being a Training Programme Director (TPD) in NHS, he has previously been a College Tutor for RCPCH. He is currently a Clinical Lead within Barts Health NHS Trust and a Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, School of Medicine and Dentistry.

No, you can book directly with us without a GP referral. We also work closely with local NHS GPs to ensure continuity of care.
Can you see my child today if they are unwell?
We hold daily slots specifically for acute paediatric cases. Please call the clinic as early as possible to secure a same-day appointment.
Do you offer the Chickenpox vaccine?
Yes, we provide the two-dose Chickenpox (Varicella) vaccination course for children from 12 months of age.
Will my private health insurance cover the cost?
We provide a fully itemised payment receipt with all necessary clinical codes, which you can use to claim from your insurance provider. We recommend contacting your provider before your appointment to confirm your level of cover.
