Do I need a referral to see your dermatology team?
No. We accept self-referrals for all skin concerns. However, if you have a complex medical history, bringing any previous treatment details or a letter from your NHS GP can be very helpful.
What should I do if a mole is changing shape or colour?
You should consult a GP or Dermatologist immediately. Signs to look for include asymmetry, irregular borders, multiple colours, or a diameter larger than 6mm (the ABCDE rule). Early detection is vital for successful treatment.
