Considering a Steroid Injection?

Steroid joint/soft tissue injections, also known as corticosteroid/cortisone injections, can be an effective way to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and improve function in joints/tendons/bursa within the body. If you’re experiencing issues that aren’t responding to standard treatments such as medications or physical therapy, a steroid injection may offer relief.

These injections are commonly recommended for conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, tendinitis, and bursitis, particularly in joints such as the knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow. Here at 360med Dr Cengel can determine if a steroid injection is right for you following a thorough assessment, which will typically include a medical history, standard questionnaire and physical examination as a minimum.

If you’re struggling with musculoskeletal pain that’s impacting your daily life, let’s discuss whether a steroid joint injection could be a beneficial part of your treatment plan.

Dr Cengel offers a full range of joint and soft tissue injection with use of portable ultrasound guidance where required. Please complete the following enquiry form if you would like to book in:
